SoFi Stadium, home of the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers, has earned the WELL Health-Safety Rating through the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI). This achievement makes SoFi Stadium the only active stadium to hold such a title, validating its commitment to the well-being of its staff, football teams, artists, guests, and partners.

The WELL Health-Safety Rating is an evidence-based, third-party-verified rating of the stadium’s health and safety protocols focused on operational policies, maintenance, stakeholder education, and emergency plans for resilience and response.
SoFi Stadium is the largest stadium in the NFL by total square footage, encompassing 3.1 million square feet, and it can expand to accommodate up to 100,000 spectators for major events. It’s located at Hollywood Park, a near 300-acre sports and entertainment destination.
“The WELL Health-Safety Rating isn’t just a certification for us; it’s a testament to our core philosophy. We prioritize the well-being of everyone who enters SoFi Stadium,” said Otto Benedict, SVP of facilities and campus operations at SoFi Stadium and Hollywood Park.
SoFi Stadium effectively earned this achievement across multiple projects, including cleaning and sanitation procedures, emergency preparedness protocols, stakeholder and communication engagement, and innovation. Additionally, Hollywood Park is committed to staff and community wellness activities, such as Hollywood Park Moves, a series of free weekly classes presented by Cedars-Sinai.
“This tremendous accomplishment by SoFi Stadium and Hollywood Park underscores their commitment to people’s health and safety,” said Rachel Hodgon, president and CEO of IWBI.
