Facilities Management Advisor’s “Under Construction” series highlights some of the latest, most interesting facility project announcements every month.

$1B Meta Data Center Campus

The data center market is booming, thanks to the meteoric rise of artificial intelligence (AI). Case in point, social media giant Meta recently announced it is investing more than $1 billion in an AI-optimized data center campus in Beaver Dam, Wis. Spanning over 700,000 square feet, this project represents the Facebook and Instagram parent company’s 26th data center in the U.S. and 30th in the world.
